| Coast Guard Beach was selected as the Number Five best beach in America for 2007 and is part of the Cape Cod National Seashore.It is operated by the National Park Service who gives guided services such as tours and hikes. It lies in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
The beach has miles of shoreline and is great for swimming in the summertime from mid June through Labor Day. There are sand dunes and plenty of area for you to walk or the children to play on the beach or in the water.
The parking lot at the beach is closed during the peak season months so access is by shuttle from the Little Creek parking area. There are seasonal restrooms and a wheelchair accessible ramp to the beach.
There are hiking and biking trails available with plenty of historical and educational sites available. There is a lot of history recorded in the Cape Cod area. Take a beach vacation in this historical and beautiful region. |
