| Coopers Beach is located in the Village of Southampton, New York and was chosen as the Number Three choice of "Dr Beach", Dr Stephen Leatherman for Americas Best Beaches 2007. It is part of a seven mile stretch of beaches within the village and is maintained by the Southampton Department of Beaches and Recreation.
Coopers Beach has a beachside cafe with outdoor dining. There are restrooms open during the peak daylight hours.
The swimming area is the only beach in the Southampton system that has supervision. Rental chairs and umbrellas are readily available. Freshwater showers are located outdoors.
There are boat ramps scattered throughout the beach area but non specific to Coopers Beach.
