The park consists of 52 acres and is on the north side of Ponce DeLeon Inlet in the town of Ponce Inlet.

There is swimming, surfing, and sunbathing along the beach with nature trails, picnic area, and fishing in the adjacent areas. There is also a number of marinas that offer fishing charters and equipment.

There is an abundance of wildlife living in the 52 acres of Lighthouse Point Park. The surrounding area can be observed from the observation deck and tower.

Admission to the area is per vehicle and is reasonably priced.
