| Main Beach lies in the town of East Hampton, New York in the Village of East Hampton. It was voted by Dr Beach, Dr Stephen Leatherman, as the Number 7 Best Beach in America in 2007. The Village is one of the most beautiful places in the northern United States is very much a retreat from the hustle and bustle of The Big City. There is clean white sand and crystal clear water. There is a lot to do and see around Main Beach and in the Village of East Hampton but remember that the area is usually crowded and the prices are not cheap.
The beach schedule:
Weekends and holidays only - Memorial Day until the last Saturday in June
Daily (7 days a week) - June through Labor Day
Weekends only - Labor Day to September 30
One of the main things to remember before going to Main Beach is that a Non - Resident beach permit is required for parking and must be displayed on your car. Check with Village Hall in East Hampton Village, East Hampton, New York before going to this beach.
This is not an ordinary public beach but if you are looking for something different, this may be a place for you to vacation.
