The increase in credit card debt has become more evident represented by the actions of the the banks and credits card companies in the past week. This can be considered a way for them to hedge their losses. In these desperate times for the customers, The higher interest rates, which I will call robbing Peter to pay Paul, have not done this.

The credit limits for customers are being lowered thus creating lower credit scores everyone involved.

Much of this has been brought on by the ever increasing gas prices and the shape of the economy as a whole. There seems to be no solution for anyone in sight.

We have been taught to live by a budget for most of our lives but the present state of the economy has disrupted or thrown the whole budget idea out the window. Everyone was not budgeted for a $2 increase in gas prices and the domino effect that it has caused.

With all of this said, I have not heard even a hint of a solution by any of our presidential candidates from either party.

I wanted to rerun this article from last week to be sure that everyone gets a chance to read it.

Newsletters are a true marketing course for internet marketers. I am speaking in terms of you the recipient not he publisher.

I have been asked, Where have you learned the most about Internet Marketing and the answer would definitely have to be through marketing newsletter.

Probably 99% of the programs that I have joined as an affiliate have come through information learned through newsletters.

There is great information either through the newsletter itself or through the links enclosed.

This is not to say that the information is necessarily by the owner of the newsletter through information or links therein. Sometimes a good baseline for a product is the fact that it appears in several newsletters.

If you subscribe to enough newsletters, you will eventually be able to differentiate between the what I consider true marketers and the "me to wanna make a buck" marketers.

A lot of people online are scared to death to give their name and email in order to subscribe to a newsletter. I hear this from friends all of the time and this was my feelings in the beginning of my internet presence.

Most of our email providers have given us a solution to relieve our spam fears and still receive all of the great information that newsletters provide. With most, you have an option to have several email address assigned to you under your account.

My suggestion to you is to set up an email address to subscribe to nothing but newsletters and other incoming items that you feel uneasy about.

If you have any problems, just close out the address and start a new one. Immediately before closing, transfer all of the good newsletters to the new address. You will find that most people are honest and respect your privacy and will let you opt out at any time. If they stay online they can't afford not to. Try not to use free emails like Hotmail, etc because they sometimes get blocked.

You can also check for an opt-out line for subscribers on each newsletter. This is included with most auto responders. It has worked for me every time.

I set up my present newsletter email address several years ago have hot closed it once with the exception of when I went from AT&T to AT&T DSL. Opting-out to many newsletters have not been a problem either.

One of my favorite and most beneficial newsletters is by Allan Gardyne at Associate Programs.

I suppose that by Obama visiting Europe and the Middle East this summer he can, as stated, assess the situations critical to American National Security.

The only possible reason that I can find for this visit is to try to convince the American voters that that he is taking a crash course in foreign affairs and improve his chances of winning the election.

Do we really think that this visit will bring the candidate up to speed on the war and foreign policy before the upcoming election?

Now that the economic stimulus package is history and the Federal Government had anticipated handing out more than $100 billion in rebate tax checks, lets look at the results and see how well the economy has rebounded.

As the surveys are taken, most recipients of the have used the money for necessities for everyday living like food and to pay the increased gas prices. It seems that very little has been used for unnecessary electronics and or other accessories.

These surveys have also found that due to the rising cost of food, fuel, gasoline, and other consumer goods, a lot of which, relate back to rising oil prices, most of the money was used to cover debt and very little was used to spur the economy.

In most cases, you can look at the rebate as a temporary fix and not a solution to any problem.

The leaders of our country need to put their heads together and give the economic solutions a lot of thought and reasoning. It is time to put politics, parties, and "Bush" type attitudes aside and search for some of these true solutions. The American people are the losers when these attitudes and party differences prevail.
