Daytona Beach
Daytona Beach and Spring Break have been a tradition for many years. There are 23 miles of sandy beaches bordered by activities and beach clubs. During the season, you cannot stroll down the beach without seeing an abundance of parties, dances, and bashes in progress.
If you are a college student and still trying to decide on your destination, there are plenty of sites online that describe the Breaks of the past with pictures. They have been filled with non stop parties.
A plus for Daytona Beach is the fact that it is in the country and is easily accessible by car or airplane.
There are a lot of reasonably priced accommodations that are affordable for the college student. These range from single rooms in small motels to ocean front condos and rental homes and cottages.
Some rental properties do not participate in the Spring Break activities so it is a good idea to check with the Daytona Visitors Bureau and get a listing of all of the student friendly lodging places. During this time, some cater solely to the Spring Breakers.
If you are going to be drinking while on Break, don't take any chances and drive. Most of the activities are within walking distance and there is public transportation to get you to the malls and other attractions.
Enjoy your spring break and stay safe and polite.
